Please review the following link for the application form to join another project under the International Year of Languages 2008.<br />

The project is third in the sequence under the International Year of Languages and will have three components. The project is likely to include:<br />
<br />
1.      Enhancing communication between the A and the A regions<br />
2.      Research on cultural diversity<br />
3.      Exchange ideas to protect cultural heritage on both sides.<br />
4.      Collaboration between scientific researchers and institutions<br />
5.      Translation of the scientific materials will be done to overcome language barriers.<br />
6.      Translation of the regional literature for the new English readership and promotion of the literature of the endangered languages<br />

The project will call the social and human science communities from the beneficiaries to join to form a group online, which would aim at enhancing communication and studying language, human and cultural rights, migrations, urbanization and social issues such as exclusion and poverty. Data will be sent two-way and translation of the materials produced will be done to overcome language barriers.<br />
<br />
To join the project, you will be required to have some material which can be translated by the other participants in one of the endangered language and then distributed for the general good of the people.<br />
<br />
The other side will be required to send some literature from their endangered language and translate it into English for the readership of the people there. We are currently seeking only 08 applicants for this. After all the eligible applications have been received a TIG project will be made for them to join.]]></description>

A New Project has been introduced. The project is third in the sequence for<br />

1. Commonwealth as a uniting force between the fifty-three countries <br />
2. How Commonwealth accepts diversity and how it has been a source to overcome conflicts and problems between the societies. <br />
3. Discussions<br />
4. Each day we will celebrate the independence of each country of the Commonwealth to signify its diversity. <br />
5. How the Commonwealth addresses issues related to poverty and health.<br />
6. How is the Commonwealth relevant and valuable today<br />
7. How can youth dialogue be sustained and what they can do.<br />
8. the programme will seek the participants to begin similar projects in their communities<br />
9. It will be important that all participants are active during the life of the project and contribute actively, each day the participants will be supposed to write a blog.<br />
10. Certificates will be awarded to successful candidates.<br />

                    <description><![CDATA[To help UNESCO through its efforts for the 2008 International Year of languages, I have considered the idea of introducing a capacity-building e-course, which will be provided free to those selected.<br />
<br />
This three-week e-course is a training course to educate young people about the international year of languages, its aims and the endangered languages. The course will focus on helping young people create documents such as essays, short stories and reports in English related to the year. I will be considering only 15 students for this project.<br />
<br />
Participants are expected to remain committed and submit assignment on time. A candidate who delays his/her assignment twice will be liable to be excluded from the project.<br />
<br />
If you will be busy with some other projects or travelling and have little access to the internet, please do not apply.<br />
<br />
Selected participants will be notified by or on Monday, February 11 2008.<br />
<br />
Applications from women, minorities and all castes are welcome.<br />
